Systems/Network Administrator

Southwestern University has an immediate opening for an experienced and motivated UNIX Systems & Network Administrator. If you are looking for an exciting position that touches nearly all areas of today’s IT world, then look closer.

We’re looking for demonstrated expertise with:

* Linux or UNIX variant
* UNIX Shell and Perl scripting
* Apache and Tomcat
* MySQL/Postgres databases
* BIND, DHCP, qmail or Postfix
* Network configuration and management of switches, routers
* Network file storage (NFS, CIFS, WebDAV)
* LDAP Directories

In addition to the list above, we are particularly interested in applicants with experience with:

* Virtualized enterprise computing with VMWare ESX or vSphere
* Network Appliance file servers
* Cisco routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, etc.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in systems and network administration.
