Do you have a bit or a whole bunch of Linux-related knowlege you would like to share with the group? Want to speak about a favorite distro, application, technique, or method? Or maybe you have a suggestion for a program that someone else would present?
If so, drop me a note, or let any member of the BOD know of your idea, and we'll try to make it happen.

Kissing Penguins, LLC
Hi,
I'm trying to get Kissing Penguins off the ground and could use some of ALUG's honest feedback. We manufacture Linux servers and thin-clients for use by businesses, schools, and non-profits. We install, configure, and maintain a wide variety of Linux and open source software remotely for our customers. In addition, we provide a variety of essential IT services, i.e. software updates, security, data backup, hardware/software/networking support--all remotely.
Is ALUG a good forum for this? If so, the sooner the better!
Regards,
Todd
Kissing Penguins presentation?
Todd,
If you're interested in doing a presentation, we would love to see it. The first open Thursday is June 1. I'll be at the Red Hat Summit and will have to miss it if you do it that night. If June 1 is not a good night for you, pick the nearest following Thursday that works for you and let us know.
Thanks,

Can someone present on:

or
How to install and manage antivirus?

antivirus
May I ask antivirus for what? I understand that if you're running a Linux mail server you might want to make sure that your Windows clientele aren't passing/catching infections. Is that what you're interested in?
