Leading provider of network security solutions is seeking a Network Tools Developer to help authoring and leveraging internal and open source networking tools and enhancing their capability. Candidates must be experienced with open source software development on the Linux platform. Additional layer 2 and layer 3 networking and tunneling protocol knowledge also required.

REQUIREMENTS

* 5+ years experience in software development
* Firm understanding of TCP/IP protocol (IPv4 and IPv6)
* Understanding of layer 2/layer 3 tunneling technologies
* Experience working from an RFC specification
* Preference for a fast-paced, high-performance work environment
* Shell scripting experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

* Experience with existing open source tools WireShark (Ethereal), tcpreplay, libpcap
* Experience writing Ethernet device drivers
* Experience with GTP, GRE, 6to4 Tunnels, MPLS, Mobile IPv4/IPv6

EDUCATION

* BSCS, BSEE or equivalent experience
