Old business: arrangements for next weeks meeting.

Presentation: Joe Barr
Speaker used to write about OS/2 publications always went bankrupt.
Speaker programmed for 30 years which had a detrimental effect on Brain.
Ran website on LINUX (just worked) caused speaker to fall in with an Evil crowd.
Handcoded HTML.
Has 4 mini-donkeys on ranch.

Went to Brainshare a Novell conference in Salt Lake city home of a lot of Mormons.
Debra Anderson spoke. Migrate 6000 desktops to LINUX.

Discussion of calendar on alg WEB
site and plans to change WEB site. Change out geeklog. use gmame.

New business:

Motion passed to change fellowship meeting to
“Linux Discussion, knowledge exchange and technical assistance.
Passed unanimously.

Next Installfest may be end of may (approximately) at Carl's place of employment.

Jim Parkhurst will not be here 2 weeks hence creating a difficulty with Riverside Drive meeting location, the board is thinking of hiring a guard.

Geronimo is a open source project running in a Java environment.
although GlueCode Software is a proprietary company with proprietary
products, they do run this open source project as well. It does J2EE.
