System Administrator
Temp to hire opportunity
Required experience:
• Systems Operations
• SUN OS
• Linux
• Experience supporting initial build, deployment and maintenance
• Strong operational skills including monitoring and managing OS hardware
• Bash scripting
• Perl, PHP
3 – 5 years recent experience as a system administrator for large IT operations including proven ability to provide superior Tier 3 support and effectively communicate with customers, peers, remote engineers and management.
Responsibilities include:
System support for up to 200 servers
System monitoring, log rotation and backups
New system deployments
Racking, cabling
System documentation using Visio and Excel
Tier 3 support for customers
