Power transferred to Denis Oxford.

Presentation on Linux on obsolete slow hardware.

Paul Elliott has a IBM Thinkpad 390e that runs Linux slow but usable.

Runs open office WP, presentations, Konqueror, Firefox.

128Meg memory, 300 mhz, 6Gig. Bought for $50. No battery.

Ubuntu will not boot usable without swap partition. Open Suse will not install without a swap partition preinstalled.
