Thursday, May 16, from 7-9pm we will have the Austin Linux Group meeting at WaterLoo Icehouse on Burnet which is located here.
It is not far from Burnet/Colfax Bus stop.
We will discuss GNU Linux and try to answer any questions.

September 17, Austin Linux Group will Celebrate Software Freedom day at New Horizons Computer Learning Center. We will help people install GNU/Linux (come early), answer GNU/Linux questions, hear presentations, emphasizing the value of Free software. We may discuss how you can be involved with and benefit from free software.

Using VirtualBox on Linux
Jason Schonberg will discuss the installation and use of several linux distributions on Sun's Virtualbox. Configuring virtual machines and using physical devices (eg. usb) within the virtual machine.

On September 17, 2009 we will be discussing the configuration of the Apache Web server. Bob Carnaghi of the Austin Linux Meetup Group has agreed to join us in reviewing the configurations that he typically uses.
