08 / 21 (event) Parrot Start: 19:00 End: 21:30 Stephen Weeks will be giving a presentation related to Parrot. Parrot is a project to build both a virtual machine for dynamic languages and a comprehensive set of compiler-building tools to help people implement their languages on top of Parrot. Parrot was originally started to provide a virtual machine for Perl 6. We've had regular monthly releases for quite a while now. We're a very active open-source project.
